Germany, here we are!

The first day is over, and we are all slowly starting to figure out Krefeld - on foot, by car, by tram. My lovely colleague has her camera at the ready, and so we already have a group photo. This is at the Volkshochschule (VHS), where we'll spend the academic part of our time here. The students had just finished the first part of their assessment exam, and were taking a break on the third floor balcony. Willkommen!

Es ist soweit!

We will meet at Indiana Memorial Union (Indiana University) in Bloomington, Indiana, on Saturday, the 28th of April, 2012. Registration begins at 8.30 a.m., and this blog post is making it just on time! It will be a day full of activities: Some will be of more practical, organizational kind, and many activities will revolve around getting to know each other, your instructors, and the wonderful IUHPFL team. You will find out about travel and financial issues, get an idea of the average day in Krefeld, and meet some of the program's alumni of Summer 2010. We are looking forward to meeting you very soon and having a great summer together in Krefeld!
